The findings showed a trend and patterns towards high levels of utilization of antibiotics from the Watch group, with the wide use of ciprofloxacin and third-generation cephalosporins among inpatients of public sector hospitals in Pakistan. 73 , 89 , 115 The current studies noted that inpatients typically receive Watch antibiotics more frequently than Access antibiotics. 96 Table 4 summarizes the dispensing practices and sales of antibiotics according to WHO AWaRe group, accounting for 8.2% (7/85) of the total studies included in this review.
