In the metachronous PJI group, thirty-five out of 131 individuals experienced revisions, and there is a trend that revisions reduced the risk of metachronous PJI in patients with multiple prosthetic joints, but the results did not reach statistical significance (OR, 0.80; 95% CI, 0.53–1.22; p = 0.31).
