In this study, we found that the level of cystatin C in Parkinson’s disease patients was significantly lower than that in the control group, and with the prolongation of the disease duration in Parkinson’s disease patients, the serum cystatin level showed a trend of gradual increase, which is consistent with the findings of Ye Ming et al.
