Interestingly, a sub-analysis of the trial [ 22 ] using the universal definition of MI, compared to the original definition used by the steering committee, showed reduced rates of the primary endpoint in both arms, which, however, still did not reach statistical significance (cangrelor 4.9% vs. placebo 6.0%; OR: 0.80; 95%CI: 0.63–1.02).
