Epidemiological studies based on the California Cancer Registry have shown that [ 31 ] the median age of onset of TNBC was 54 years, with 36.6% at < 50 years and 12.2% at < 40 years, and the median age of onset of non-TNBC was 60 years, with 24.4% at < 50 years and only 5.7% at < 40 years, suggesting a significant trend towards younger age of onset of TNBC.
