After FDR correction among the 24 identified metabolites, none was significantly associated with colorectal cancer risk, although three metabolites; C3 (OR per 1-SD change: 0.69; 95% CI, 0.53–0.89; P value = 0.005), PC ae C34:3 (OR per 1-SD change: 0.66; 95% CI, 0.50–0.88; P value = 0.005), and PC ae C36:3 (OR per 1-SD change: 0.70; 95% CI, 0.49–0.99; P value = 0.04) showed nominally significant associations.
