The results further demonstrated that advanced age, N1 status, M1 status, higher AJCC stage, larger tumor size, subtotal thyroidectomy, and the absence of RAI therapy were significantly associated with poor prognosis, although N stage and RAI did not reach statistical significance in the multivariate regression analysis.
