The negative associations we observed of residential proximity to floricultural greenhouses with PNP (and borderline non-significant with IMPy) for individuals living within 200 m of such greenhouses is concordant with previous findings within the ESPINA study, in which a positive association between residential proximity to floricultural greenhouses and AChE activity was observed among participants who lived within 275 m from crops [ 43 ] (lower AChE activity reflects greater exposure to organophosphates and carbamates).
