Despite being within normal, irrespectively of gender, HCT percentage was significantly higher in the S group than in the NS group (48.10% versus 46.85%, p = 0.03) while RBC and HBG were borderline non-significant among these subgroups ( p = 0.05 and p = 0.07, respectively; Table 2 ).
In this population of patients undergoing mitral valve repair, Streptococcus was the most frequent pathogen (31.3%; p = 0.050, borderline non-significant), in contrast to Staphylococcus aureus , which was the most frequent pathogen in patients who underwent mitral valve replacement.
Within PAM50 molecular subtypes, evidence of a borderline non-significant trend (corrected p = 0.05) of higher ROR scores in screened Luminal B patients and higher NHG status in screened Luminal A patients was also observed.
Patients with a high state anxiety score had significantly lower mean Mental Component scores compared to patients with low state anxiety (47.3 versus 58.7, p = 0.002), and borderline non-significant Physical Component scores (42.0 versus 50.4, p > 0.05).
To test if this preference for high calorie food differed between groups, a linear mixed effects model revealed a small, borderline non-significant main effect of calorie level (high vs. low) on stimulus value ratings ( β calorie level = 0.02 ± 0.01, t(506) = 1.95, p = 0.052, 95% CI [2.20e-4 to 0.05]) and a significant main effect of group ( β group = 0.09 ± 0.03, t(506) = 2.71, p < 0.001, 95% CI [0.02–0.15]).

An initial approach to differences in patient outcomes showed that regarding PS, a statistically significant difference of mild versus severe cases ( p = 0.041) was observed, while the difference between mild and moderate cases was borderline non-significant ( p = 0.052).
For control participants, the borderline non-significant correlations between the difference in heterophoria at distance and near and vergence and refractive state changes were r S = 0.42 ( p = 0.053) and r S = 0.42 ( p = 0.052), respectively.
We observed no association between APOE e4 + ( B = − 3.52 [− 7.84–0.80], p = 0.108) or BDNF Met + ( B = 3.78 [− 0.84–8.40], p = 0.107) and the BAI score and a borderline non-significant association between APOE*BDNF interaction ( B = − 9.29 [− 18.78–0.20], p = 0.055) and the BAI score.
The change in QUALMS-BF over time was borderline non-significant ( p = 0.059).
Similar but borderline non-significant results were observed for worktime composition of forward bending of the back ≤60 ̊ and >60 ̊ (Composition B; χ2=5.8, P=0.06).
While spider mites as exclusive food resulted in fewer eggs in the Bt compared with the non-Bt treatment ( p = 0.001), a comparable effect was borderline non-significant when spider mites and E. kuehniella eggs were fed in alternation ( p = 0.06).
