However, the Group 1 call component in the paired male 2 (T = −2.130; p = 0.0982, Figure 6A ) and the Group 3 call component in the paired male 4 (T = 2.272; p = 0.0737, Figure 6C ) showed a trend toward a shift in the structure of their coda vocalization over the three periods. 4 Discussion Our study confirmed that the application of contraceptives affected the vocal pattern of the great call of female yellow-cheeked gibbons.
