In a pilot study involving 33 patients with intermediate-2 and high-risk MF, patients harboring JAK2V617F, SF3B1, or U2AF1 mutations showed a trend of a better response to treatment, whereas those with the ASXL1 mutation, often associated with poor prognosis, showed a limited benefit.
