Patients with ICA had a significantly lower inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) dose and lesser requirement for additional medication use including /long-acting β agonist (LABA), anti-immunoglobulin E (IgE) or leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA), and only a trend of higher requirement for short-acting β agonist (SABA) which failed to reach statistical significance than patients with WCA.
