The point estimates for quintiles 1 and 3 were also suggestive of an increased hazard of death, but did not reach statistical significance (aHR, 1.28; 95% CI, 0.99–1.65 and aHR, 1.24; 95% CI, 0.97–1.58, respectively), whereas the trend across quintiles remained significant ( p value for trend = .01, Supplementary Table 5 ).
