Compared to patients admitted to an internal medicine department, a previous hospitalization was associated with numerically higher rates of rehospitalization for worsening HF, although this association did not reach statistical significance (16.8% vs. 24.0%; HR = 1.47; 95% CI 0.98–2.24; p = 0.07; Log-rank p = 0.07) (Fig. 3 , right panel).
