Thereby, vancomycin, linezolid, daptomycin and tigecycline, which typically cover (oxacillin-resistant) CoNS 14 , 15 , seem to counterbalance this phenomenon as 12 out of 13 patients that had received these antibiotics at cannulation were simultaneously exposed to antipseudomonal β-Lactams and showed a trend towards even lower odds for cannula colonization.
