While there was a clear trend towards better outcomes across all assessed efficacy endpoints through week 14 (particularly for stringent outcomes, such as ASDAS MI and ASDAS ID) in patients with nr-axSpA in early disease (symptom duration ≤2 years), no significant differences in clinical outcomes were observed between patients with early (symptom duration ≤2 years) versus established (symptom duration >2 years) nr-axSpA, or for patients with either nr-axSpA or r-axSpA with short versus long symptom duration (≤5 years vs >5 years).
