Among five studies [ 45 , 48 , 57 , 66 , 67 ] that did not demonstrate a statistically significant protective effect on the development of LC, one study showed a trend towards protection [ 67 ], and two reported a reduction in a few LC symptoms due to vaccination [ 45 , 48 ].
