The interaction between sex and CLs did not reach statistical significance in correlations with MMSE ( p = 0.055; Figure 3 ). 4 DISCUSSION Our analysis of a large, real‐world, memory clinic–based cohort of Medicare beneficiaries presenting with MCI or dementia revealed that females had significantly higher proportions and odds of amyloid PET positivity, along with a greater global amyloid burden (CL) compared to males, irrespective of cognitive impairment severity.
