In addition, CHD8 binding at regions marked by H3K27ac or H3K4me1 was increased in Chd8 KI mice, whereas no such difference was apparent for that at TSS and H3K4me3 regions, suggestive of increased binding of CHD8 to enhancer regions as a result of Chd8 overexpression (Supplementary Fig. 5e ).
