The patients in the top 25% of the neoantigen-specific T cell responses showed a trend toward longer OS than those in the bottom 25% (30.2 vs 15.7 months). 55 Although this study treated an advanced, refractory HCC population, one unresectable patient achieved secondary resectability after tumor shrinkage, with an 18-month disease-free interval after treatment. 55 This conversion to resectability highlights the potential for further investigation of this treatment platform as an induction therapy for locally advanced disease.
