Researchers from the University of Oxford’s Cancer Epidemiology Unit also examined BMI-related mortality risks for 17 cancer types in a cohort of 1.3 million women between 50 and 64 years old in the UK and found a significant trend of increasing MM mortality with rising BMI (RR: 1.50 and 1.45, for men and women with BMI ranging from 29.9 to 39.9 kg/m 2 , respectively) [ 46 ].
