These findings suggest that strengthening patients’ self-care abilities and promoting regular physical activity may improve psychological recovery and overall HRQOL. Several other psychosocial factors, including baseline somatic symptom distress, social support and medication adherence, did not reach statistical significance in the likelihood ratio test or final model.
