While the longest iGAS outbreaks, at 100 and 170 weeks, respectively, were reported in 2017 and 2018, there was no evidence to suggest a significant trend in the duration of outbreaks over the study period, adjusting for setting type ( n = 169 outbreaks; IRR: 1.0 95% CI 0.8–1.1 p = 0.7; Table 3 ).
