In addition, although the interaction between drinking and hypertension did not reach statistical significance (P for interaction = 0.091), stratified analyses showed a significantly higher risk of survival in hypertension patients with drinking (HR = 3.35, 95% CI: 2.59–4.34), while the interaction between drinking and hyperglycemia is statistical significance (P for interaction = 0.019) and stratified analyses also showed a significantly higher risk of survival in hyperglycemia patients with drinking (HR = 3.34, 95% CI: 2.56–4.37).
