During the task state in the working memory group, participants showed a slightly higher MI in the left frontal region compared to the right frontal region, whereas participants in the tDCS group showed a trend toward a higher MI in the right frontal region.
The results of brain network data analysis in this study showed that compared to the sham group, enhanced connectivity between the left frontal region and the parieto-occipital lobe was observed in the delta band of the tDCS group, and the node degree was increased but the clustering coefficient was decreased, whereas there was a decreasing trend in the node degree and clustering coefficient of the gamma band.
