Stratification by DI-GM categories revealed that participants with a score of ≥6 had a significantly lower likelihood of breast cancer (crude OR = 0.65, 95% CI: 0.54–0.85, p = 0.002; adjusted OR = 0.67, 95% CI: 0.45–0.89, p = 0.006), with a significant trend across increasing DI-GM levels (adjusted p for trend = 0.014).
