For visual cues, we found that owls' likelihood to react was about 9% lower under light (estimate = −0.093, 95% CI: −0.169, −0.017) and 7% under noise, which, however, was only marginally significant (estimate = −0.075, 95% CI: −0.151, 0.001; Figure 1b ).
