When we tested the three markers with significant association by simple regression (MMPs 14, 11 and DDR2), the model performance lacked sufficient specificity, so we tested different markers that have shown approaching significance, and the most significant performance metrics enhancement was achieved when MMP2 was included instead of MMP11.
