Mayur’s study [ 22 ] revealed a clinically meaningful 34% prolongation in orientation time among non-hyperventilated patients compared to the hyperventilation group (time ratio 1.34, 95% CI 0.94–1.92; P = 0.103), but the difference did not reach statistical significance at conventional thresholds.
