The regulatory dynamics for HR and steps during control periods in this model were identical to those that emerged during control periods in the model of binge behaviors with one minor exception: the association between the velocity in steps and the acceleration in HR approached significance ( β = 0.065) but did not cross the α = 5% threshold.
