In the ovarian tissues of dairy goats during the breeding season, the expression levels of fatty acid synthase (FASN) ( p < 0.01), low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) ( p < 0.05), follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) ( p < 0.05), TMEM205 ( p < 0.05), TM7SF2 ( p < 0.05), ABHD6 ( p < 0.01) and SLC35G1 ( p < 0.05) were significantly increased ( Figures 5A – G ), and the fold change showed a trend similar to the corresponding counts per million (CPM) values in the RNA sequencing results, indicating the accuracy of the RNA sequencing data ( Figure 5H ).
