In the validation cohort, the nomogram (AUROC, 0.742 [95% CI, 0.709-0.775]) maintained significantly better discrimination than SOFA (0.681 [0.645-0.717], P=0.001) and SAPS II (0.701 [0.665-0.737], P=0.038), although the difference with APSIII (0.715 [0.680-0.750], P=0.129) did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 4 , Table 2 ).
