In the patients with TA, the Chi-square (χ 2 ) test revealed that the expression of ERK1/2 and Bcl2 was highly significant with the presence of epigastric lump, advanced histological appearances based on Bormann classification (Type 3), tumor size >5cm, presence of LVI, high tumor grade, p-T3 tumor extent, p-N2 lymph node status and pTNM-III stage (p<0.05).
