In terms of biochemical index statistics, FPG and HbA1c showed a decreasing trend in the T2DM, OB and HC groups; in addition, compared with the HC group, ALT, AST, TC, TG and LDL-C were significantly higher in the T2DM group, and ALB, HDL-C and UREA were significantly lower in the T2DM group; compared with the HC group, HbA1c, ALT and AST in the OB group were higher than that of the HC group, and the above were statistically different ( p < 0.05).

Results Compared with the OB and HC groups, the T2DM group showed a significant reduction in cortical thickness in the bilateral superior frontal gyrus, inferior frontal gyrus orbital region, and the lower part of the right middle frontal gyrus, and the functional connectivity of the prefrontal cortex showed a significant trend of enhancement.
