For the lower AQ group, there was a significant or marginally significant effect of context in most of the valence categories: For the negatively-valenced faces, rating was significantly lower in the negative-context than the no-context for slightly negative ( b incl. = -1.00, p incl. <0.0001; b excl. = -0.98, p excl. <0.0001), negative ( b incl. = -0.54, p incl. < 0.001; b excl. = -0.54, p excl. < 0.001), but not for the very negative faces ( b incl. = -0.29, p incl. = 0.11; b excl. = -0.36, p excl. = 0.06).
