p21 CIP1 and p16 INK4a showed a trend toward increased expression with doxorubicin exposure in 6‐day (2b,c; p value Cortex = 0.41 (p21) 0.61 (p16) and Medulla = 0.61 (p21) 0.94 (p16)) and 10‐day (2d–e; p value Cortex = 0.42 (p21) 0.43 (p16) and Medulla 0.29 (p21) 0.33 (p16)) cultures as compared to control.
