In sepsis, IVIG was associated with reduced inflammatory responses and improved coagulation markers; although a trend toward reduced mortality did not reach statistical significance in one small study ( 70 ), a study with a larger cohort reported significantly improved 28-day survival in patients with sepsis-induced coagulopathy ( 71 ).
