Tests of interaction between most factors ( table 3 ) yielded statistically insignificant interaction coefficients(IC) except for age and gender which yielded a negative statistically significant correlation coefficient of interaction but this was a very weak interaction (IC=-0.36.95%CI: -0.55—0.17, P=0.001) Impact of gender on hair drug levels Male participants had a higher mean hair drug level ( table 2 ) than their female counterparts, but this did not reach statistical significance after univariate and multivariate analysis.
