17 – 21 We found a significant trend toward increased self-reported prepregnancy counseling about cardiometabolic risk from 2016 to 2019, with subsequent declines observed during the early COVID-19 pandemic, likely because of disruptions to clinical care and increased telehealth visits that occurred during the early pandemic.
