However, both the Western blot ( Figure 2 ) and IHC assessments demonstrated a decreasing trend in the SNAP25 expression levels in the cerebellum of the heterozygous female Mecp2 T158M mice as compared to those in the wild-type controls, which was not statistically significant ( Figure 9 ). 3.5.
In the cerebellum, no significant change was found, although MeCP2 levels showed a trend towards a reduction in the hemizygous male Mecp2 T158M mice and a trend of a slight increase in the heterozygous female Mecp2 T158M mice ( Figure 1 ).
Specifically, a slight trend of an increase in SNAP25 expression was observed in the cerebellum while a slight trend of a decrease in SNAP25 expression was evident in the cortex in the Western blot analysis.
