However, while Al-Metairie et al 31 demonstrated that the correlation between severe psoriasis and HTN was significantly stronger than that between severe and mild psoriasis, suggesting that the severity of psoriasis may be directly proportional to the risk of HTN, Langan et al 32 did not observe a clear trend.
