In three‐generation CHB families, diabetics exhibited significantly higher ALT levels (34.1 ± 17.2 U/L) compared to non‐diabetics, with a borderline significant association ( P ‐value = 0.05, OR = 3.15, 95% CI: 2.4–5.18), suggesting that CHB‐related liver dysfunction may contribute to elevated ALT levels in diabetic patients.
