VEGF and VEGF sR1 protein levels increased post-treatment as measured by SOMAmer reagents 2597-8 and 8231-122, respectively, while the levels of VEGF-A showed a trend towards decreased levels as measured by reagents 14032-2 and 4867-15 (Table 2 ; Fig. 1 ) although these reductions were of a smaller magnitude.
