Neuron survival in hypoxic conditions significantly increased by the addition of 33.3 ng/mL Tpo ( p = 0.0244), while both lower (16.6 ng/mL; p = 0.29) and higher (49.9 ng/mL; p = 0.066) concentrations showed only trends toward enhanced survival; however, they did not reach statistical significance (Figure 3 ).
