In addition, the MetS group showed a significantly higher proportion of participants with FBS > 100 mg/dL, elevated triglycerides, reduced HDL cholesterol, dyslipidemia, and hypertension (Table 1 ). Regarding pulmonary function, the MetS group walked a mean distance of 12.7 m less than the non-MetS group during the 6-MWT, but this difference did not reach statistical significance.
