However, smokers (AOR = 1.6 (0.15, 17.22), p = 0.053) and those with a disease duration of less than 4 years (AOR = 1.6 (0.49, 17.2), p = 0.07) also showed a positive association with increased depression, though these associations did not reach statistical significance (Table 3 and Figure 3 ). 4 Discussion This study offers valuable insights into the prevalence of mental health symptoms among individuals with IBD within high‐volume medical treatment sites.
