In the unadjusted analysis, overweight individuals (BMI 25–29.9 kg/m 2 ) had an OR of 1.22 (95% CI: 0.65–2.31; p = 0.538), and obese individuals (BMI ⩾30 kg/m2) had an OR of 2.10 (95% CI: 0.87–5.06; p = 0.100), suggesting a possible trend toward increased dementia risk.
