Male sex (Male vs Female; unadjusted OR 0.75, 95% CI 0.56–0.99; P = 0.045) and increased VA (unadjusted OR 0.98 per 1 letter increase, 95% CI 0.97–0.999; P = 0.033) were at reduced odds of SDD presence at baseline in univariate analysis, however this did not reach statistical significance at the 5% level in adjusted analysis, though the evidence against the null hypothesis for Male sex remains moderate in adjusted analysis (adjusted OR 0.75, 95% CI 0.56–1.01; P = 0.057).
