In view of the C‐statistics based on the PCWP/CO slope (C‐statistic, 0.826 [95% CI, 0.744–0.891]) and MCR (C‐statistic, 0.739 [95% CI, 0.648–0.817]) in predicting cardiovascular outcomes, the difference between the C‐statistics of PCWP/CO slope and MCR did not reach statistical significance ( P =0.242) (see Figure 3B ).
