When analyzing the monthly occurrences by separating the outbreaks caused by norovirus (the most common causative pathogen) from those caused by other pathogens ( Figure 2C, D ), both Daegu and Gyeongbuk showed a trend where norovirus outbreaks were most frequent in winter (13 in Daegu, 15 in Gyeongbuk), and outbreaks due to other causes were most frequent in summer (8 in Daegu, 19 in Gyeongbuk).
